The first love of the Murrayfield Hotel is rugby, and this is highlighted by the massive mural of a Scotland game on one wall of the bar.  However, the quiz night also draws a large crowd - and a pretty formidable one at that.  Scores are always high and usually a few teams are battling it out right to the last round.

 

The quiz has an easy starting round and the questions get progressively harder.  There is also a picture round.  The quizmaster usually goes round the teams towards the end and will often give hints to those who need them.  All in all a very enjoyable quiz, but a hard one to win unless you really know your stuff!

Not a bad quiz. Quite slow paced which can be annoying as there's quite a wait
between rounds. The questions are fairly tough and there's the very real
possibility that everyone will get beaten by a lone woman who seems to go
regularly.
